The Importance of Distinguishing Rustlessness

The confessions are written as a model of narrating his own life in terms of what he perceived in Ambrose. Pride, forgetting that you're not God, lust loving yourself above all other things is one way to discern rustlessness from the other. The fact that you're lonely could be really good. And I would say if you read the confessions as a kind of spiritual lesson with heavy moral emphasis, this is a principle thing and distinguishes into a process.
