positioning is getting the definition of who's my competitor, how am i different? What's the value i'm delivering? Who is it for? A what market do i intend to win? That's positioning. How you communicate? Positioning is a thousand different ways. You can communicate position your branding is communicating positioning. Your messagng is communicating positioning and so on. So when we get something like story telling, a, you might have a thousand stories that you use that help to communicate who you're for and what the value is. The most common way that positioning gets communicated is in the the message that your sales raps, if you have sals wraps are delivering in sales meetings
