Is There a Single Embodiment of Hidra?

The term Hidra is often associated with people who perform and collect donations, especially at times of celebration like the but also in other times and spaces as well. There's a really rich anthropological literature that can sort of help us out with giving at least a sense of like some of the community structures or patterns, I guess. In the 19th century, certainly there was a real fixation on the part of British with the Hidra body and trying to make their bodies legible to categories like UNEC,. Also impotent and a number of other sort of categories too.
