The Mother of All Peace Supers Happened When It Did

In 1952 the UK was still paying back its war debts. The coal that was used in people's homes was particularly low-grade. People were also allowed to buy off ration because they were still rationing of coal at the time. That's sounding eerily familiar energy crisis. I want to get onto the modern revival of air pollution, but I think a bit more about the smog itself first. Those are sort of anti-cyclonic conditions where the winds stop. And into this, all these cities air pollution is pumped and just doesn't move away.
