The quantitude house band is led by don hettaker, one of the coolest human beings on the face of the planet. Don has a breathtakingly cool set of models that are after this very thing that we're doing. He's focused on intensive longitudinal designs, looking at multiple repeated measures within an individual. And when that's defined in the log likelihood of the model, you can then bring in predictors to say, are there between person characteristics that in part govern people who are more variable in their repeated measures from those who are less variable? It's freak and magic. I love reading his papers.
