The Spirituality of Reason and the Spirituality of Faith
The spirituality of reason terminates, ends in God. We can't arrive at supernatural truths like the Trinity apart from God revealing them to our knowledge. So the spirituality of reason is fundamentally irrevocably, undeniably, although you can frustrate it and be unhappy, a movement to God. And then, the spirituality of faith begins with God. But so Father Tyler has a rational soul, which means that when he knows things like a rock, just for an example, his whole humanity is drawn into his encounter with this thing that he regards.
