The Science of Astronomy

Every university at some point or another has launched a weather balloon with science instruments. The images that come from these where you do see that curvature of the earth, that dangling instrument hanging from what looks like a jelly fish. These are beautiful, elegant pieces of science hardware and its it's something that reminds you that there is a certain romance to science as we move into this high tech future.
