Is There a Moral Panic?
In 1650, ranchers caused a moral panic by running naked through the streets and preaching naked to naked crowds. It's likely that they formed some kind of free love communitarian counterculture in England in the 1650s. They believed in the same Christian socialism and pacifism of the diggers just plus sex and fun. Some of them were vegetarian.
