Anne: I used to buy a bag of 70 kgs at around 2,800 and at the moment it's going for 3,950. It's a difference of over a thousand shillings, one bag. That's a bag of feed, so absolutely critical to your production. The Ugandan egg comes here at a very lower price. That's making so many farmers to shut down their businesses. We are trying to at least cope with the high production by increasing the price of Eggs.
