Is It Hard to Maintain Your Own Privacy?

The amount of information that thet governments and and companies have about us is much, much larger than 30 or 40 years ago. So in that sense, maintaining your own privacy is hard, because you have very little tool. One may be extreme example is its, for instance, a network like facebook. But it's entirely conceptually possible to think about a much more federated, or even peer tropeer networker.
