What Happened to JFK Terminal 1?

Air New Zealand was operating its Auckland to JFK service and they operate to terminal one at JFK. There was an electrical issue, a fire happened. So the terminal was closed for a few days. A lot of aircraft were affected in the initial kind of closure. And unlike how many people on social media came to say, why couldn't they just go to other terminals? Well, it's JFK. It's this weird hodgepodge co-owned by Lufthansa, Joe, Korean, and Swiss.
