How to Write a Consensus Statement for Migraine Treatment
The consensus statement was far more broad. We didn't want to tell anybody that this is what you should or have to do. Instead, we were trying to make it a little bit more flexible in that, you know, try some traditional options, but if you feel it's not right for your patient,. If you feel like the newer treatments would be a better choice, you write that medical attestation and make the push for your patient. It's not always easy. It does take time. But when you do practice that in clinical practice, I see patients in our headache clinic and we help make that decision"
