The Origins of Riot Ventures
Riot Ventures raised 10 million dollars in its first seed fund. The firm has since made about $150 million in co-investment through SPVs into two companies, Toast and Shield AI. "We raised enough to get into business and we had burned the boats," says Riot partner Steve Kucharsky.
