The Effects of Pliometric Training on Tendon Stiffness

Dalia: It's fascinating this morphological change in the tendon, just like Matt said, takes whatever. But I just wonder what Danny might have to say on that. We see some changes, maybe not all the way through to the muscle tendon level, but we certainly see that there are stiffness changes in some of the jump characteristics. So theoretically speaking, if pliometric training is good at improving the active stiffness of the muscle, and isometric training isGood with increasing the stiffness of the tendon. If you combine them together pretty much perfect training, well, that's directly speaking. And again, we need more experimental studies on that.
