In his book, the case that really got to me, christopher does this great job of pausing and explaining some extra information during dialogue. He'll explain how his counterpart is experiencing the moment. A lot of times we have to help them understand what thinking before we understand what they mean. The listening very intently is trying to do the best that i can with the jigsaw that's being presented to me. And sometimes thinking of it figuratively in that way, i'll the picture is beginning to take shape, but there's a few pieces missing.
