How to Process a Bad Father

The dad has no redeeming qualities ever at any point. There's no attempt to make him. He is a a flat out villain, but it actually works like normally I don't like cartoonish villains that are just evil for the sake of evil. It provides a foil for for peacemakers so that he doesn't become an evil douchebag. We see him on the spectrum and we see him inching towards good.
