The Dangers of Banting Natural Gas in New Buildings

About 40 to 50 percent of heating and buildings in Massachusetts are using natural gas. The 10 town pilot in Massachusetts does provide certain food municipalities to adjust their own ordinances to require no new natural gas hookups. There is also trade-offs, as I just mentioned, there are reasons why builders and building owners want natural gas. Until we can make sure that the demand for natural gas shrinks, we may end up shifting the buildings out of those communities or simply reduce the housing needed for certain communities.
