The Chinese Communist Party is looking to have companies submit what they call security assessments to authorities before they launch generative AI tools. And on top of that, the service providers must require users to submit their real identities and relate in from AI. It seems inevitable that we're going to see jail breaks of any system that's built by a private company in China," says John Defterios. "It's an interesting question as to what this does to potentially stifle private sector innovation"
