The Dervaza Crater

The Dervaza Gas Crater in Turkmenistan has been on fire since the 1970s. It's part of the Union Of Soviet Socialist Republics, which was once known as "Gandhar" There are natural gas and petroleum resources there to a certain extent. The story behind this crater is still not fully understood.
