A new method for making alcohol safe, drinkable and high-end has been discovered in Japan. The discovery could help reinvigorate the country's forestry sector or revitalize rural areas that have been hollowed out through depopulation. There's also a chance it could decrease the intensity of Japan's famous hay fever season by replacing seed entries with different species.
