The biggest revelation i found was just the importance of sharpness and edge retension, and how much you can reduce that force. The light fast people say it doesn't matter how heavy your arrow is, is going the same distance through foam or blissi gell. I believe both sides have it a little bit wrong. If there's a velocity dependence on force that's linear, i estimate i'll get about ten % more penetration through muscle by having higher mass. That's going from four 50 to five 50.
