The Constitution of Consent Is a Symbolic Legal Document
I have two, well, perhaps even three, but certainly two interconnected projects that I've only begun to work on lately. One is a symbolic legal document that really takes the idea of the consent of the governed out of the Declaration of Independence. So, it's a very distinct reframing of the way we think about politics as something Hobbesian that gets imposed on people rather than something that gets chosen. And if we think of laws being a kind of social technology, we should think about how we can upgrade that social technology.
