The Origins of the Reformation

Wycliffe Wycliffe was an English scholastic philosopher theologian biblical translator reformer Catholic priest and a seminary professor at the University of Oxford. Martin Luther one of the first things that Martin Luther does is translates the New Testament and then the Hebrew Bible the Old Testament into German but rather than going from the Latin Martin Luther is going to go directly from the Greek and from the Hebrew oh wow now the problem was up until this point you couldn't easily access a Greek a critical text of the Greek New Testament.
