When you look at the surgery I had, that would have been done with a big open incision. Then did minimally invasive orthopedic surgery take over the joint space? It's crazy. But there was, knee arthrospy was the first big arthroscopic realm to develop. Dick Kespery was hugely innovative in that space. By the time I graduated, all we were doing arthroscopically,. by the time he even finished his shoulder fellowship, we were doing open shoulder arthroplasty.
