The Reserve Bank's Monetary Policy Statement
The Reserve Bank will release their latest monetary policy statement on Wednesday. The official cash rate is expected to go from 5.25% to 5.5%. There has now been a little bit of an increase in the chance of it going to 5.75%. Westpac's line was better to finish the job now, that have to come back with stronger, more painful measures later. It just sounded so much like the Reserve Bank.
