I've Played Oregon Trail Growing Up. Yeah, Yeah.
The good thing about growing up today is that you can learn and accelerate so much faster than you could growing up in the 80s and early 90s. The bad part, of course, is there's a lot of really nasty people on the internet. And essentially those offline norms that had sort of been tacitly imported online were no longer governing things because people found they could push against them. In the 90s, politics was boring. Now energy is starting to get cast at it to like move that stagnation out of the way.
