The Importance of Intelligent Players in Football
Red Bull Salzburg head coach Matthias Yaisl had a lot to say about the tactical understanding that players these days have. He said we're seeing physicality increase you couple that with more substitutions that's opens the opportunity for more pressing less time on the ball for players and I think that's something that these coaches kept mentioning was the need for intelligent players. The approach of each manager of each coach is yeah to teach them as much as possible and I think they have to keep much more in their mind now how much of that as much as anything else is a necessity.
