The Future of Economics

I think there have been some good initiatives in recent years of trying to like come up with like ready to go projects or ideas, particularly in the infrastructure space. But I don't see us as overturning what is the current trend of all these super long, super careful empirical papers that pretend there aren't so many presuppositions behind it all. The people do approach questions with previous up positions and when they pretend they don't, typically that's when the presuppositions are the strongest.
