He live streamed on Facebook and injected himself with this CRISPR gene editing thing, which was apparently to knock out the gene that restricts muscle growth. But it was pretty scary watching it at the time. There have been some fatalities from people trying this kind of thing. Not because the gene editing perhaps killed them, but because poor technique and other accidents.
