Is There a Group Selection Mechanism?

Group selection is seen as a key to understanding how human morality evolved. But in most species, certainly in mammals, there's too much inter group transfer. So i don't know if it may very well work in insects and some other creatures. In early modern humans you have the conditions for cultural group selection. If our convention orms and institutions are better than yours, meaning they co operate,. so we hunt together better, we share things together better.
