Aristotle's Critique of Virtue Ethics

In Aristotelianism, it's not just about pleasure. cultivating certain qualities like virtues is something that could involve quite a significant amount of pain. And if you were a true Epicurean, you would always go for that avoiding, but that would really make you miss out of a lot. That brings meaning to our life. Rosalinde: I think this is a pretty valid criticism. It certainly would have been around in Epicurus' time.
