The plant usually provides about 20% of Ukraine's electricity, but they've shut down a reactor after reactor. At one point over the summer there were two reactors that were still working and providing electricity to the Ukrainian grid. The Russians have found out into surrounding villages and also garrisoned the town of Inohada adjacent. One of the factors that's been the most distressing is the continuing and increasing reports of really violent intimidation by Russian authorities on the workers and employees themselves.
