How to Find New Music
When I hear new songs, and this is one of the reasons I love just finding new music is because of what it helps me think and create. Like a lot of people will often write music first, challenge yourself to maybe write lyrics first. Even if you're not a singer, like there's a cadence to our speech and our words and our phrasing. And so even rhythmically, you might sort of get something,. If you're reading it or humming it, a melody may appear out of the lyrics that you've written. That has helped me when I don't know the song too well.
