Andi worked at the local paper in the summer after high school. When i was a little kid, my father had been a reporter. He taught me that as a journalist, for better or for worse, it is a passport to all kinds of interesting moments in history. And you can begin to understand things, and just get a chance to be in the room places where you haven't earned the right to be there. It's a little bit of a version to that old new yorker cartoon that on the internet, no bon knows you're a dog; when you're a journalist, nobody knows that you're 20 years old or 17 years old.
