When i say evangelical, i'm using it in particular to refer to a theological and spiritual tradition that has many indicators or markers to it. Many people think evangelical means a particular understanding of christian initiation and how one comes to faith. But i am trying to locate it here, in particular, with reference to the way the scriptures are understood to have a central and defining place in the life of the church.
