How to Collect Inoculum From Old Growth Forests
Do you see potential in the idea of capturing these indigenous microorganisms that are well established in the area by going out into the old growth forests? Yes, and because we've got large acreage, it's still going to require significant inoculum. You do want to go out into those portions of the ecosystem of your watershed and try to get small quantities. Those diseases can't become a plague. They don't escape the natural controls that are in that old growth forest or in that highly productive meadow.
