The last widely accepted sighting of the dodo was in 1662. People just think that dodos were like brown or white and they may have been, but we're actually verifying that the gene has been assembled. We believe that very similar to the Apollo program on the path to the de-extinction of mammoths and thousands of dodos and maybe other species, we will build technologies that have an application not just for conservation, but for human health care.
