How to Use 3v3 in Soccer
The physical demands of the game are always going to be high. And there's no hiding place in a 5v5, you can hide a forward up beside the goalkeeper. The concept of the books was my way of trying to simply get a player or the players as many ball contacts as possible while still having lots and lots of football relevant decisions to make. Then context comes into play. How old are the players? What stage are they at? Where in the session does 3v3 fit? Because you can use 3v3 with older players building into a 6v6 with those bigger areas. So it was my way, I say my way. We've got this Rondo generation
