The Negative Components of Gold and Silver
In some sense, there's some reality to the correspondences between planetary or archetypal energies and different metals. And so whenever we are using gold as our medium of exchange, what we are storing in our value is the solar energy that gives those life to all creatures on earth. So then to replace that with something empty, well, it doesn't seem that bizarre that so much of the work that is done or the professions of our current world are in a sense empty,. cheap manufacturing of goods that just end up in a landfill.
