The Damage to Trust in the BBC
The BBC overwhelmingly remains the most trusted source of news in Britain, says James Ball. But when you have a story about a BBC presenter it can damage levels of trust for the corporation and its staff - he tells Radio 4's Today programme. He adds that people can be sued for making comments or speculating on social media. And if there was time we would ask him about this extraordinary position he has found himself in as US authorities try to get him to help with prosecution of Julian Assange.
