James Gundo was never going to be the Russo brothers of the MCU he's never shown any desire to do that. James Gundo gets to cook. I think there's way more at stake with the first Superman. We know too much about Superman. We have expectations for Superman. So this isn't me saying that James Gundo will fail. It's just like do I think James Gunda will make at bare minimum a watchable coherent Superman movie? Yes. Do I think that that will be enough to like combat everything that he's facing in this new ecosystem? I don't know.
