The Gift of Counseling

Nehemiah is showing fidelity to the call. He knows what the Lord has called him to do and he's sticking to it. The people that are coming to Nehemiah, influential and powerful as they may be, are telling him something antithetical to what God has told him to do. There's a threat there. It's subtle, but it's real. And maybe Sanblad didn't know that Artaxerxes knew what was going on. But he's trying to pull the rug out from her. Have you experienced anything like this before? I have.
