The Train Journey From Westerborg to Auschwitz
This was to be the last big deportation from Westerborg to Auschwitz camp. It's a train journey that took about three days, and they were brought there in overcrowded cargo carriages. About 70 people packed together in one room with just one bucket to do your business in as one of the witnesses has put it into words. So it was smelly, it was fatiguing, there was hardly any food, hardly any drink. And it was very hard and harsh trip towards Auschwitz. Yes.
