Opening Day of the New York Science Fair
Many scientists took issue with the fact that the fair seemed to all be about gadget and not really focused enough on actual science. Hundreds of african american families had been displaced during the fair's construction, people who lived in old apartments a nearby i found that their apartments had been condemned as slums. This would lead to all kinds of protest throughout the whole construction process and especially on opening day. And so finally, it was ready in the spring of 19 30 ine. Now, why exactly did they choose this particular time to open the park? Wen when they realized that it could open in early 19 39, they decided to time it with the anniversary of george washington
