The Containment Skin in Botonomy
Theory is rooted in a lineage of psychoanalytic theorizations that have to do with the question of containment. I think about it first as describing the capacity of language to produce concepts which are containers of meaning, right? Little containers of meaning. In order for our world to be composed of objects that are meaningful, we are dependent on the working of the dermic drive in establishing a function of containment. This is what I speak about. I speak about the contentment and I play here on the double meaning of the world.
