The Story of Peter's First Conversion

I was waiting for Peter to get swallowed by a whale. That would have been a great story. The whole point about the book of Acts is to make Peter look like Paul and Paul look like Peter. I actually would agree with you through looking at it on balance at certainly at the Cornelius event, not being the first conversion of a Gentile. And it just seems very unlikely to me that that would have been something that was coming from the top because things were trending in that direction already.
