Syria - Is This a Big Problem for Erdogan?
In Turkey, President Erdogan has declared a three month state of emergency in the affected areas. Eight agencies are calling on the US and Europe to lift sanctions on Syria to make it easier to provide humanitarian assistance. There is no government to respond. And we should not forget that these areas have witnessed the brunt of the atrocities of 12 years of the Syrian conflict.
