The Nuance of Calories

A calorie deficit, 100% helps people lose weight. But there are degrees in which you can tailor your calorie deficit to improve the long term goal of losing weight over a longer time period. If you were to drastically drop your calories, let's say by 20%, your body literally goes into starvation mode and you'll find that typical plateau around 90 days. And then what typically happens is when you eat according to your normal diet prior to when you went on the calorie deficit diet, is you actually increase your weight. So this is a global problem now, energy abundance.
