Ingress: A Real World Multiplayer Game Played Through Smartphones

Ingress was a real world multiplayer game played through smartphones. Gameplay centered around in game sites called portals, which were anchored to real world points of interest. Niantic sunset it in September 2019, but an updated version with a slightly different backstory launched in 2018. Ingress Prime incorporates the original Ingress game into it as part of its own canon.
