Office of Boris Johnson Limited is a private limited company established by the former Prime Minister to fund his private office. It doesn't carry out commercial or campaigning activities, and Mr Johnson does not have access to its funds. But in essence, this cash is being used to pay for a private office, staffing and other costs. A million pounds can go as a donation to a single member of Parliament, and we know next to nothing about it. The whole theory of how members of Parliament avoid conflicts of interest is that we should be able to see what interests the people who pay them have.
